Ron Smedley

Ron Smedley is President of Synergistic Resource Associates and an HR professional with over 40 years of experience in human resources, organizational development, and workplace culture. He has contributed to Amtec's blog on topics spanning HR strategy, leadership development, conflict resolution, and labor law. Ron spent 13 years as Director of Human Resources, Development and Safety at ANACO, a manufacturing company, before founding his consulting firm in 1997. He has taught at both Biola University and Claremont Graduate University, covering subjects including strategic human resources, compensation and benefits, ethics in HR, and conflict resolution. He holds a B.A. in Psychology from Biola University and an M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from California State University, Long Beach. Ron is also a Senior Associate Master Facilitator for Personal Strengths and the Strength Deployment Inventory tools.
