Job Description

The Director of Production is responsible for leading the production operations providing vision, guidance, & making sure that production employees are educated & aware of company policies, state, & industry regulations & will also enforce that they communicate project information on a regular basis.

The main objective of the Director of Productions role will be to ensure Project Managers are building the projects on schedule, communicate with the Homeowners/ Team and with the quality. They will also be responsible for the revenue by monitoring milestone payments.

Serve as the liaison between customers, production employees & the President of the company keeping the President apprised to ensure he is kept up to date on activities including processes, client issues, & financials. The Director of Production must
be knowledgeable in all aspects of the home remodeling industry, current codes, & construction process.

 Attend monthly weekly meetings with Projects in Production and input notes in Builder Trend (Director of Production).
 Create & Enforce Checklist Forms for Project Manager Meetings
 Create and Enforce Weekly Meeting Forms from Project Managers
 Monitor contractual completion dates to ensure projects don't run over our legal time-frame
 Monitor all upcoming milestone payments on projects enforcing they are collected in a timely manner by Project Managers. Identify profit/loss situations and report at the weekly production meetings.
 Track all Pre-Con meetings and project start dates to ensure projects are beginning when expected. Ensure setting of schedule baseline prior to preconstruction collections.
 Responsible for overseeing and directing all Project Managers and Project Assistants. Providing vision, objectives, and guidance to the production department upholding the company standards, ensuring quality, schedules, and client satisfaction are being achieved to the client's Remodeling & Design standards.
 Maintain all current lead/asbestos testing and abatement for EPA record keeping.
 Ensure project start date change order is being completed prior to the start of the project and that all change order delays are being added into the Builder Trend calendar.

 Hold weekly production meetings with all Project Managers, Production Assistants reviewing schedules, job status, client satisfaction, outstanding proposals/bids and design changes.
 Attend Team, End-Of-Design and Preconstruction Meetings with new employees
 Administer monthly staff safety meetings per the requirements of O.S.H.A.
 Assign new projects to the project management team based on workload, client personality, and geographic location.
 Evaluate and review job performance for all Project Managers and Project Assistants. Evaluate and provide job performance feedback of trade partners on a regular basis.
 Conduct training for current and future Project Managers and Project Assistants on up to date job description requirements including new employee onboarding.
 Uphold Project Managers and Field Representatives dress code policies.
 Maintain a clean, safe, and organized company vehicle at all times.
 Create and maintain schedule for the after hours emergency phone/contact system.
 Oversee the recruiting efforts for prospective trade partners and production staff. Develop relationships with all trades to ensure quality control on each project.

 Able to perform physical tasks such as but not limited to climbing a ladder and lifting heavy object
 Able to perform difficult tasks without supervision
 High level of residential building and construction experience
 Project Management experience
 Computer skills including Windows XP, Microsoft Office, Act, and Outlook
 Excellent communication skills and work reasonably well with others
 Maintain a valid driver's license
 Time management, able to efficiently handle multiple tasks simultaneously
 Maintain regular and punctual attendance
 Comply with all company policies and procedures
 Must be fluent in English
