Job Title: Assembler 2
Job Description
The Assembler 2 position performs disassembly, assembly, re-work, and minimum testing of various
electrical/electronic equipment.
Job Core Responsibilities
 Use electric soldering equipment to the IPC-A-610B, Class 3 standard
 Cut, prepare and pre-tin wires, prepare batteries, Apply conformal coat, marking and adhesive bonding
 Follow written and verbal instructions
 Complete work according to instructions, specifications and procedures, under direct and/or limited
 Perform a variety of complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operations in accordance
with company instructions and procedures
 Conduct inspections of own and/or other associates work to insure correctness in accordance with
company and/or customer drawing
 Maintain a clean and orderly workstation adhering to 6S standards
 Maintain an acceptable attendance and safety record
 Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and procedures
 Additional job duties and tasks as needed
 Assist other departments with job duties, tasks, training, and development as needed
 Complete additional job duties and tasks as assigned and instructed by Lead Tech / Supervisor
Job Specifications
Education: Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and
work experience
Experience: Minimum of 2 years prior work experience in an electronics/manufacturing environment or
completed OJT training for at least 5 products
 Able to read and comprehend regulations and instructions in English
 Effective oral and written communication
 Must be able to work all shifts and available for overtime and weekends as needed
 Proficient in using the tools, equipment, and inspection aids applicable to the scope of work assigned
 Use hand tools, power tools and electric soldering gun
 Lift and Carry up to 30lbs
 Able and willing to comply with Drug-Free Workplace policies and pass all related drug/alcohol
 Able to perform complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operation
 Capable of solving problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on existing
precedents or procedures
 Skilled at simple welding tasks and/or brazing, or soldering
 Ability to read and interpret company documents, such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing
instructions, policies and procedures
 Experience with MS Office Suite
 Good manual dexterity required to work with small parts
 Approximately 90% sitting and 10% standing/walking about in-door Company facilities
 Use head and neck in static position, looking up/down and side-to-side

 Perform major hand grasping and fine finger manipulations using both hands
 Perform light lifting from floor, table and shelf
 Push and pull carts or mobile tables, loaded and unloaded
 Minimal: heavy lifting from floor or higher, bending, twisting, climbing, lifting arms above shoulders,
kneeling, exposure to excessive noise, hazardous chemicals, hazardous equipment, uneven walking
