Job Summary:
The Facility Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for installing and maintaining equipment, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting/repair, cleanliness, and escalation of assigned equipment according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Essential Functions:
Diagnose equipment failures, find root cause, and communicate actions taken to the rest of the team

Aligns, fits, and assembles component parts, using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures
Analyzes and records test results and prepares written testing and prepares documentation
Inspects, tests, and repairs electrical and mechanical machinery
Installs electrical and electronic parts and hardware in machines, using soldering equipment and hand tools
Makes all required settings and adjustments for optimum equipment performance to manufacture quality products
Maximizes the utilization of equipment by maintaining the machinery to run at available capacity and speed.

Follow all aspects of Maintenance Safety protocol (LOTO and 5-S), to ensure that the maintenance team operates safely at all times. Ensures the compliance of safety guidelines.
Organize and maintain a high degree of cleanliness in the maintenance area as well as performing spares inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
