Job Title: Forklift Operator

Location: Chicago, IL

Pay Rate: $19/hr

Schedule: 1st shift | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for selecting the correct product according to the pick sheet, placing the product on a pallet in a specified manner, and placing the completed order at a designated staging area for shipment to our customers and/or dealers.
• Operate a Forklift moving raw materials around the plant loading onto pallets and loading and unloading onto trucks for shipping.
• Stacking finished goods onto pallets, wrapping, and loading finished pallets onto trailers.
• Must be able to work sitting or standing throughout the shift and work safely in an industrial plant environment using machinery and chemicals.
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Comfortable moving large amounts of product through congested areas using various types of equipment.
• Prior loading/unloading experience in a high-volume facility.
• Material handling, cycle counting, and scanning experience a plus.
• Knowledge of Safety and Environmental regulatory requirements associated with manufacturing.
