Position: Physical Therapist

Location: West LA area

Duration: Flexible depending on candidate availability

Pay Range: $65-$75/hr

Our client is looking for highly qualified candidates who’ll be able to provide and work with specialized programs that are designed to offer a unique approach to special education. Our program specializes in meeting the needs of these challenges which may include problems with concentration, behavior, learning disorders, development, physical or psychiatric disorders, and emotional problems.

Job Description:

The Physical Therapist will be providing consultative and therapeutic services in order to aid in the restoration of the body’s function and prevent further risk in students with physical or motoric disabilities. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for upholding the Physical Therapy/Company Policy, state and federal regulatory licensing and accrediting requirements.

• Assess and develop an appropriate treatment plan with measurable goals and success intervals for students
• Monitor and help facilitate student’s performance goals
• Ensure that physical therapy staff and the student’s family have the necessary information to appropriately evaluate the patient.
• Develop a program customized to each student’s movement patterns and needs
• Document and report students’ progress summaries
