Role: Speech and Language Specialist
Location: Riverside County
Duration: Full-time/Part-time and Permanent
Pay Range: $65-85/hr
Our client is looking for highly qualified candidates who’ll be able to provide and work with specialized programs that are designed to offer a unique approach to special education. Our program specializes in meeting the needs of these challenges which may include problems with concentration, behavior, learning disorders, development, physical or psychiatric disorders, and emotional problems.
Job Description:
Speech and Language Specialist provides Response to Intervention (RTI) using evidence-based practice (EBP) in prevention approaches; Assessment that help to identify students with communication disorders as well as to inform instruction and intervention, provide intervention that is appropriate to the age and learning needs of each individual student and is selected through an evidence-based decision-making process; participate in schoolwide programs that employ a continuum of service delivery models in the least restrictive environment for students with disabilities, and that they provide services to other students as appropriate and participate in activities such as Individualized Education Program (IEP) development, report writing, and treatment plan/therapy log development.
Required qualifications to be considered:
Bachelor’s degree in special education or a related field
1.5-3 years of experience as a Speech and Language pathologist/assistant/internist
Must clear a current background check through the FBI and DOJ
A current TB Test (within the last 6 months)
Current negative COVID Test or proof of vaccination
Active CA driver’s license with proof of auto insurance
