Stockroom Clerk

Summary
Stock clerk with 5 or more years experience.  Compiles and maintains database of inventory records of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies stocked in the organization.  Maintain the inventory for both manufactured parts and purchased parts, including receiving and issuing parts using the Made2Manage (M2M) system.  Back up Inventory & Control Systems Manager as needed.  Provide cycle count to Inventory & Control Systems Manager.  Able to use forklift.

Responsibilities

– Open and close the building Monday through Friday and alternate Saturdays

– Process all parts for outside processing (OP)

– Maintain the inventory for both manufactured parts and purchased parts, including receiving and issuing parts using the Made2Manage (M2M) system

– Pull job status reports as requested

– Maintain tool inventory including issuing tools and ordering replacements

– Inspect and measure all required items per M2M

– Process pick lists for each job by pulling and ordering parts as needed and routing to the designated department

– Provide cycle count to Inventory & Control Systems Manager

– Provide back up for Stock Room Clerk by pulling parts and updating in the M2M system

– Pallet jack and forklift duties

Job Requirements

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Five years inventory or shipping and receiving experience (manufacturing environment preferred)

- Ability to read, write, and speak English required

- Proficient using a computer, Word and Excel; knowledge of M2M software preferred

- Basic math skills including fractions and decimals required

- Ability to use a tape measure and caliper preferred

- Ability to operate a forklift 

- Self-motivated team player with the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment

- Ability to adhere to ethical principles that reflect the highest standards of organizational and individual behavior and accept responsibility for actions

- Possess effective organizational and time management skills, be detail oriented, manage competing priorities for multiple projects and consistently meet all deadlines

- Ability to work collaboratively with others and foster cooperative relationships and credibility at all levels of the organization

- Valid California driver license and acceptable driver record required

- Must be able to work Saturday rotations
