Following prescribed machine shop methods and procedures, operates a variety of CNC machine tools to produce parts in a production environment as specified in blueprints and production planners. Operate manual drill.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Operates machine tools in a production environment to produce parts in accordance with specifications and blueprints.
Maintains, lubricates, and degreases production machines and equipment.
Loads parts for machining and performs periodic quality checks for conformance to specifications and planning documents.
Job Requirements
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Requires at least 6 months of on-the-job machine experience.
OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES
Requires close hand/eye coordination, high manual dexterity including rapid hand and finger movements, and simultaneous use of both hands.
Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and follow verbal instructions in English
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Works in a factory environment and is exposed to dirt, heat, grit, sparks, noise, fumes, and dust.
