In 1959, an engineer named Robert Underwood saw an industry need for a quality recruitment firm, and Amtec was born. While the fledgling staffing agency initially filled mostly aerospace and engineering roles, it has expanded over the past sixty years, proving that experienced recruiters with a great hiring process can find great matches for practically any position. Our Southern California recruitment headquarters started out first in Fullerton in the ‘60s, then Brea in the ‘70s, and Chino Hills from 2011 to the present, with satellite offices in Portland, Oregon and Prescott, Arizona. We serve employers and job seekers all over the United States, filling jobs in a variety of industries.
