Job Description

As an Associate Packer, you will be responsible for packing products in a timely manner consistent with the department’s safety, quality and production goals. This position reports directly to the Department Manager and is supported by the department Team Leads.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)
  • Ensure that the packing schedule is followed in order to satisfy the needs of our customers. Ensure quality of product meets Company and industry standards. (90%)
  • Ensure that all quality issues are directly reported to the department lead. (5%)
  • Ensure that immediate work area remains clean to avoid any safety related issued. (5%)

Job Requirements

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
If you can do everything listed above, you've got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:
  • High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
  • Attendance: able to consistently demonstrate reliable, punctual attendance.
  • Speaking: able to effectively communicate in group settings and one-on-one, with all departments and at all levels within the organization.  Effectively communicate between shifts to ensure departmental goals are achieved.
  • Measurements: able to read a tape measure to 1/32' tolerance and to use combination squares to measure angles to +/- 1 degree, micrometers, calipers.
