Role: Civil CAD Drafter

Location: Midland, TX

Duration: Permanent – onsite

We are looking for a Land Development CAD Drafter to grow with us.  As a Drafter, you will work with our engineers performing the following tasks:

• Civil sketches, construction drawings, and detailed plans on residential, commercial, municipal, and industrial projects.
• Prepare drawings for grading, paving, storm water management, utilities, zoning, and infrastructure improvements.
• Read, interpret, and draft plans, profiles, cross sections, and details.
• This position offers the potential to take on design responsibilities after mastering the company’s design standards.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience.
• Experience in both commercial and residential land development is a plus.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D; knowledge of Carlson a bonus.
• Technical school degree and/or coursework in civil engineering related drafting.
• Enthusiastic to contribute to a growing company and motivated to learn.
• Attention to detail and a willingness to complete projects within deadlines.
