Job Summary
The General Operations Manager will oversee all Operation functions. The GOM is responsible for managing all hands-on operational and quality aspects of the company. This role collaborates with Executive Leadership to develop operational strategies and is charged with facilitating these efforts across Operations and Quality. The GOM provides the leadership, and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational & quality controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and systems in place to effectively grow the organization and improve operating efficiency. The GOM oversees project management, sales, and on-site support as well as quality assurance, information technology activities. Central to this role is building positive and lasting relationships between Company and its employees, customers, and vendors.
Job Responsibilities/Duties
 Responsible for various activities when Executive Leadership is absent.
 Work closely with Executive Leadership or appointed stewards to develop and accomplish goals and strategic plans.
 Development, communicate and implement effective growth strategies and processes.
 Collaborate with Executive Leadership to develop and implement plans for the infrastructure of
systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the growth objectives of our organization.
 Responsible for the measurement and effectiveness of all processes internal and external; Provides
timely, accurate and complete reports on the operating condition of the Company.
 Motivate and lead a high-performance team; Mentor direct reports to cultivate skills and to increase
productivity while keeping quality in the forefront.
 Prioritize workflow to meet customer deliveries (On-Time Delivery).
 Remain knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, and all aspects of Tier Power
Systems.
 Establish key performance indicators to assist in measuring the health of the organization.
 Establish compensation, training, short and long-term goals for the operations groups.
 Represent the Company at various community activities; Meet and network regularly with business
leaders in the community.
 Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Directly manages 10 – 20 employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications/Experience
 Bachelor's Degree from a four-year university, a Master's -Degree in a related field preferably MBA,
Organizational Behavior, Management, or equivalent is required.
 10+ years' experience in management experience is required.
 Experience working with UL, electrical, manufacturing industry is preferred.
