Internal Medicine Physician

Location: available locations in Vista, CA and Chula Vista, CA

Duration: Direct Hire and Full-time 

Salary: $126/hour – $179/hour DOE

Work Set-up: Fully onsite

Position Summary:

Manages and provides acute, chronic, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative medical care to patients and determines appropriate regimens in specialized areas such as family practice, internal medicine, and geriatrics with experience in transitions of care, chronic disease, advanced goals of care discussion, and palliative management.

Our client is also expanding their programs to healthcare Physicians who are interested in specialties like Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Geriatric, OBGYN, and Pediatrics.

Position Requirements:

• Education Required (Minimum level of education): Graduate from an accredited school of Medicine
• Certifications/Licenses Required: Current CA MD or DO and DEA license. CPR/BLS certification. Board certified or eligible in primary care specialty
• Preferred: ACLS certification
• Required (Minimum level of experience): Completion of clinical training

Preferred:

• 1-year post-completion of clinical training
• Employment in community health center
• Experience working with the elderly population
• Verbal and Written Skills Required to Perform the Job: Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred ~ Medical Spanish

Technical Knowledge and Skills Preferred to Perform the Job: Skin biopsy, excision of skin lesions, suturing, casting, sigmoidoscopy, and phlebotomy.
