Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented SolidWorks CAD Designer to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating detailed 3D models and technical drawings for aircraft components and assemblies. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects and contribute to the development of innovative aerospace solutions.


Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop conceptual designs and product specifications.
  • Utilize SolidWorks software to create accurate 3D models and detailed technical drawings of aircraft components and systems.
  • Ensure designs meet engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide feedback to improve product quality and manufacturability.
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to support prototype development and production processes.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and files, including design revisions and engineering change orders.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design efficiency and streamline workflows.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software with a minimum of [X] years of hands-on experience.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and engineering fundamentals.
  • Experience in aerospace or aviation industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of aircraft systems and components is a plus.
