Role: Embedded Systems Engineer | Schedule: 40 hours/week in office

Location: Albuquerque, NM. On-site.

Salary: $100,000. – $140,000. per year

Seeking a full-time Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to join our team in Albuquerque, NM to assist in the support of product development of sensors and intranets in the areas of condition-based monitoring, situational awareness, signal intelligence, artificial intelligence, (AI), safety, and embedded systems. 

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, aeronautical engineering, or equivalent

• > 4 years of continuous work involving design/development of embedded aerospace systems

• Formal training in requirements-driven system engineering

• Experienced in rapid prototyping with simulation tools

 

Skills Desired:

• Schematic design

• Digital Hybrid design with ARM processors

• Analog design involving power, signal conditioning, ADC, DAC

• ARM programming.

• Wired and wireless interfaces with I2C, USB, UART, GPIO, Bluetooth, Ethernet, and Wi-Fi

• FPGA programming with VHDL and vendor toolsets

• Qualification of airborne systems

 

Performance Expectations:

A strong EE will be a hands-on contributor to the design of microprocessor-based circuits, integration of SOC on PCBs, and mixed-signal and digital interfaces.

 

The ideal candidate will:

• Take a concept to design manufacturing

• Design, test, and validate prototypes

• Interface with suppliers of components

• Have experience in CAD design of circuits, modules, and processors

• Have experience in programming FPGA

• Fluent English skills for design documentation, reports, presentations, etc.
