By doing so, “employers are better able to decide if it would make sense to increase employee contributions in their health care insurance,” said Darren Galgano, territory sales manager for Colonial Life, a provider of insurance coverage and consulting. “If I’m an active, young person, maybe a high-deductible [plan] would work for me. But if I have a family, I probably would want a more service-driven plan.”
